You'll ride camels across the deserts of pastilla, Venture deep into the snowy mountains of salmiakki, and even visit a volcano near the cozy mountain town of lebkuchen! Can you imagine a world without cabbage, tomatoes, or even carrots? Believe it or not, that's the world you'll find yourself in at the Beginning of harvest Moon: One world, as the harvest goddess, the Queen of crops herself, has vanished... However, before the harvest goddess disappeared from this world, she imbued the Tiny a new harvest Moon with global appeal! Harvest Wisps with the knowledge of various seeds, thus ensuring the various fruits and vegetables of the world would not be Lost. Reading a lot of the other reviews that are along the same vein as this one, I have to agree with a lot of the points. I've not had the glitching screens that I've read about, so I can't speak on that, but I'll give my opinion on everything that I have experienced and you can decide for yourselves what you wish to do.Long load times: yes, for what the game gives, it is an extremely long load time. Just to get into the game itself, getting to the title screen even, takes about two minutes of loading when you first select the game on the switch's main menu. After that, there's the black screens that come up every time you enter a building that basically sit there long enough to make you think the game crashes. There's also the wait when you have to look at the little box that tells you how much you made in shipments, which sits there staring you in the face for a good ten to fifteen seconds before allowing you to push any buttons. It's not like you can see a report of what items you shipped, it's just the total sitting there in the box, no number scrolling, nothing. Why there's the option to go "back" on that screen, I'll never know, because choosing "back" or "confirm" does the exact same thing and brings you to the next day.Overworld: this to me is the biggest problem. You're offering the idea of a world exploration, where different areas can grow different crops. Yes, the path restriction is annoying as all get out to me, but if you actually made use of the background landscape, I could forgive it more. Instead, you're given the barest minimum of anything to look at, with the world basically being the same plains-like setting that is given fresh coats of paint and the occasional hill (I'll admit, I haven't gotten very far beyond the second town story-wise, so maybe it changes a bit more later on, but from what I've seen, this is the feeling I'm getting). At the very start, it acts like you're meant to be going into a wooded area to search for food, and yet I didn't feel like I was in anything like that at all. You have all that open space in the background that you won't let us go to, so use it. Or give us the incentive to build on your repetitive medal quest by showing new life start to bud in the background as you collect more of them. Right now, the world feels like it was slapped together in a day, and the developers just went "Eh, good enough" and sent it through.Characters: this one hurts. Personally, I'm not overly fond of the character models. It kinda reminds me of the ones from "Tree of Tranquility" getting mixed with "Light of Hope" and that was the resulting model. Okay, that part's out of the way, now onto the bigger issue. Names. There are characters that have name tags that are just a description of what they are. "Shopkeeper" "Awkward Man" "Animal Dealer" just to name a few from the first town. I get the idea of not wanting to do the individual introduction cutscene for every time you meet one of the residents, but really, it wouldn't have been needed. All you would have had to do was just give them an actual name on their name badge and it would have been fine. Just some way to give the villages more life, rather than the dead soul they have now.I said this once before with "Lost Hope", but if this is seriously the type of game they want for the Harvest Moon franchise, I don't think I'll be getting any more beyond this one. If there's one thing that "Light of Hope" got right, it was the background appearances in my opinion. Because compared to this one, at least I could feel like I was on a mountain or in the woods, even on the beach, while this one...this one's a dull shell of even that painful game. And it hurts because it feels like Natsume really don't care about the franchise anymore. Going down this road, they're gonna lose a lot of their veteran fans if they don't start putting the care they once did back into these games. I'd rather play a game with one town that has heart and soul put into it as opposed to a giant world that's been tossed out carelessly.I got this for my husband (what husband?) and haven’t seen him since his birthday 2.5 m ago. He says it’s like another old game where you farm; and he says things like, “the day is almost over” and I’m like, “what, dude? It’s 10 am.” Sometimes we’ll be doing quiet time together and I can hear him mashing at his game controller toy and muttering. He’s also gotten the children into it so now they all take turns like it’s their one hour outside the prison cell. I would give it 8 thumbs up.I would like to preface this by saying I've been playing Harvest Moon since I was 13. I've loved this series for a very long time. When the game series broke apart a few games ago, I was crushed. I've held out hope though. And it has paid off. One World is an incredibly charming, fun game to play. I love the graphics, and the characters are really good. The plot doesn't feel too forced, and it's mechanics are very easy to use. The crop system is amazing, and I love the idea of having to "breed" them to get certain ones.My one complaint is that sometimes stuff isn't explained as good as it could be, like upgrading tools and such.I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone who has loved this series, and new players alike. It's not old school Harvest Moon. It won't ever be again. But its something new and similiar, and well made. I really hope other veterans give it a chance.Wow! This game may have a low rating on IGN so I must be in the minority but I love this game so much! It’s entertaining, cute, and addicting. I’ve been using it as a distraction and let me tell you, it works!I will admit this game has its issues: time moves way too quickly, stamina drains even while not doing anything, little to any direction or guidance, and of course some bugs here and there. I will enjoy it for what it is and all that of course, I do think it’s worth a try, though the price should be lowered and the games needs some patches or updates to help fix some of its issues. While not the best or perfect game of the series, I still think it’s worth giving a try and just slowly getting used to it.Empty, boring and a waste of money. It saddens me to see this series fall so far, but I just don’t see effort. Minimal customization, it babies you throughout the game, farming is thoughtless. Back to Stardew and Story of Seasons. This may be titled harvest moon, but I found out the creators of the original harvest moon games changed to creating games under the name Story of Seasons!! Those are the games you want to play if you are a harvest moon fan. This one has bad graphics in comparison to Story of Seasons, boring gameplay and just so not the same!Waste of time. The story is practically linear with very little flavour. Harvest moon use to be a great series until the split. If you are an old school fan go looking for story of seasons.Everyone is not in the same place. One romance character per area and the areas are huge so good luck trying to go to every place. Desert and winter areas are basically useless to you at the start of the game because you need supplies. Buy stardew valley instead.Llegó pronto y en buen estado pero si no sabes inglés ni lo compres porque no tiene nada de español
