I love the fact I can play via the pro controller.I hate the fact that it feels really heavy. If you prefer the mobility but with an actual controller, this isn't too bad.If youre fine with holding the console by the sides, the Hori Split controller, imho, still feels the bestThis is exactly what I've needed! I am someone who I prefers playing docked, but have found myself playing handheld more often during the pandemic. When I play handheld for extended periods of time, my wrists start hurting a lot, so I've been looking for a solution that would alleviate this issue.I've gotten the mumba blade case and the skull n co gripcase in hopes that it would make playing the switch in handheld more comfortable. Although they help, I would still find that the weight of the switch was just too much for my wrists for extended periods of time. The solution that I've found works best for me is using a controller and resting the switch on a hori play stand in tabletop mode. Sometimes this is a hassle to balance if I'm playing on my bed, or if I want to play laying down on my side, so I end up defaulting back to handheld.I saw this product and really liked the concept of it. I liked that it slid into my switch directly, and that it could adjust to multiple angles. Now that I have it, I couldn't be happier with the results! It keeps the angle you set it at, and this way you can easily adjust the center of gravity to fit your position. I'm now able to play on my switch in handheld with no wrist issues at all! Not only that, the full controller is way more comfortable to play in then the small joysticks the switch comes with. I can see myself now preferring to play in handheld with this switch controller grip.It does make me a bit nervous how loudly the grip snaps onto your pro controller, but I haven't noticed any scratches yet. There are no rubber grips to protect your pro controller when you put it on, so buyer beware: it's plastic on plastic. I think I'll be leaving this on my pro controller in order to protect it from damage from clipping it on and off. The only thing that would make this product even better is if they added some kind of rubber footing to protect your pro controller from getting damaged. Otherwise, I have no issues with the product!I hope that the makers considering expanding the line to other controllers as well. If they created a Fixture S1 for the SN30 Pro+ controller, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! I prefer that controller for 2D games that need a good D Pad, and so I end up using it more than my pro controller. I could also see them creating this grip to hold your phone with an SN30 Pro+ controller! It would be nice to have a grip that could angle your phone in multiple ways with ease.If you're having wrist issues or any doubts about getting this product, I highly recommend it! It's ended my search for the perfect handheld setup. That is, until one is made for the SN30 Pro+ as well.Honestly 9/10 but it does not work on PowerA controllers, also getting a controller in and out can be kinda hard.Pros: sturdy holds both the console and controller without fear of coming of while during game play. Perfect for playing Nintendo switch in bed or on the go with the pro controller.Cons: Do not use if you have a custom skin on your switch because the holder uses two rubber pads hold the console inplace, this puts a lot of pressure on the back of the console and depending on you're custom skin could damage it through simple friction. The clamp for the controller is soo tight that those with poor hand strength should not use this as it does take some effort to insert and remove the pro controller.Suggestions for improvement.Remove the rubber pads and add a lock system simular to the joycons to secure the console to the holder. Use a retractable mechanical clamp for the controller to allow people with poor hand strength to insert and remove their controllers easier.Final thoughts. If you prefer the pro controller over the joy cons for mobile play then this is soo recommended. But bewarnned that due to the design it takes some skill not leave rubber marks on the the back of the console and strength to secure the controller to the holder.Way more comfortable than the akward switch controls. I had trouble play the handheld version just because the way my elbows had to be positioned my hands would go numb. It fits well on the pro controller and gives me more of a classic feel playing games. The only reason I couldn’t give a 5 star is simply for the lack of foresight to make the mount spring-loaded for the OLED Switch/smart phones. Especially for the price point compared to other mounts, it seems a little exorbitant, especially when other mounts at lower price points offer the ability to mount smart phones as well. That being said the construction is good, and the joints are very snug. I will admit I can see them loosening over time which is a concern, again, because of the cost of replacing it with another one if I chose to buy from the company again. At the end of the day, though, this thing does what it says it does and holds your switch for you.Oh, and of course it is going to put more weight on your wrists: you’re holding a controller WITH a SWITCH attached to it. No stars docked for the way gravity works.Yep, it is nice and stable, good alternative way to play and great to be able to use the pro controller. But, as you can see from my photos it does scratch the controller, and no it doesn't buff out as some reviews online suggests it does. So I strongly suggest that you use an old Pro controller if you happen to have two. Don't use a limited edition as you will scratch it.Ather than that it's as described.Feels too heavy and bulky in the hands, maybe if you have bigger hands, wouldn't be a problem. Quickly realised that my hands felt restricted when the screen was folded above the controller. Didn't feel like my thumbs had enough space to switch buttons comfortably.Just generally pretty uncomfortable and wouldn't recommend. Also I know other people have mentioned this but seriously it does slide very tightly onto the switch and does indeed make rubbery trails that are visible even after trying to wipe it off.Get the Switch Pad Pro or something similar instead.I confirm what so many have said before: this transforms the experience of playing in portable mode and is a must-have for games that require fine controls (I got it primarily because I found it near impossible to play "Grid Motorsport" with joy-cons). However, bear in mind that this turns the Switch from a handheld device into something else entirely. The carry case (which I also got) is the size of a handbag, not something you casually slip into your backpack! In summary: a great addition for "hardcore" Switch gamers, not so much for more "casual" players.I tried to adjust the angle and the back joint snapped and warped, from minimal pressure. I highly recommend another option - NOT this one! The OIVO one is so much better. The idea is great, the product's quality is five stars. However the whole thing is way too heavy. After a few sessions just looking at my pro controller was painfull. I decided to return the item, it was free and I got the money back. You can try as well, maybe it will not bother you as it bothered me. None of the youtubers I watched mentioned this issue, so maybe it is just me;) The holder is adjustable im many ways, which is great, but holding almost 700 grams in hands is too much for me.
