I’m so happy, I love the way they turned out!Edit: they sent new screwdrivers pretty quickly and they worked without issues. Quick response time. The screwdriver head for outer casing broke after finishing first Joycon. Cant do anything anymoreI wanted to change the look of my OEM neon joycons that came with my Switch OLED since I was unable to get the white version on launch day. I really liked the idea of white controllers but wanted to add a little extra to it. I then remembered how much I liked the look of the Xbox Lunar white controller and decided I wanted to try that. I ordered both the eXtremeRate white shells as well as their gold buttons. Obviously I didn’t use all the gold buttons because I wanted some black still present, but I love how this came out. The button molds are a perfect fit and have a nice feel to them. I am a little concerned how long the paint will last, especially on the triggers but for now, they look great.Only issue I have is when taking the buttons off the plastic molding holder. The gold paint appeared to flake off. I don’t think it would be noticeable once on the controller but still a little concerning. With that said, the buttons I used were floating separately in the package so not an issue for my specific case. Of note, I did not see this issue with the black buttons included with the white shell so this may be a fluke or may be specific to the gold paint. For now, this is a 5 star product and I will definitely but using eXtremeRate products exclusively in the future. If anything changes, I’ll update this review with photos. So, I recently purchased this. At the time, I didn't realize that they didn't come with the shells, but that's my fault for not paying attention. Anyway, I went to buy the shells, and was a bit upset that they didn't come with an option for only the shells without the buttons, since I'd have no use for them. Skip ahead, I get the shells and install them and the scarlet red buttons. I love the way my controllers look now, but with one issue. While I was removing my home button from the plastic rail, a bit of the paint came off of the top, so now my dark red home button has a bright white spot on it, which bothers me every time I look at it. In conclusion: Pay attention to the item title and description, and be VERY CAREFUL while removing the buttons from the rest of the plastic. They look great and match the white thumb sticks well. I don't love the texture of them though. They feel a bit chalky/grainy. I wish they were smooth. However the texture does add more grip. I'm docking a star because there was some chipping on the L button and around the ring for the home button. Not a deal breaker, I would still recommend them, but beware that your set may not be perfect.I was completely satisfied with the product I recieved. I got exactly what is shown in the provided photos. I dont know if I over looked it or not (I may have im not sure i don't remember seeing or reading about it) but if i didnt overlook and read everything correctly about the contents of this order then I can happily say that this product even came with extra screws and springs incase you loose/break your originals when assemblin the buttons into your joy cons and it also came with a screwdriver and all of the required exact size interchangeable heads for each different type of screw that will need to be taken out to perform this modification. And like i said I THINK that I read everything correctly about the included contents of this package and IF I DID, it said nothing about those things being included with the button set. Soin the end I was actually more than satisfied with my order and felt that I was provided outstanding service by this seller, i reccomend this seller and product to anyone thinking about ordering it as well you'll be more than pleased and if I'm ever in need of exotic Nintendo Switch replacment buttons again this is the exact product and seller that I will order from again and again anytime im in need.I had thought this came with a black case as well but I just did not read an ounce further past "Buttons".although I couldn't swap the shell itself, I got to take apart both joycons for the first time. Nerve wracking at first but it's actually pretty easy.I got these, along with white joysticks to create a Switch Lite look. Unfortunately, these buttons are PURE white, and the joysticks are actually match the NS Lite. I would really love for there to be an option for "Lite Grey" buttons that match the Lite. The difference is small, but it IS noticeable. If you care enough to be changing these things, this might bother you. That being said, this is my 3rd pair of buttons from ExtremeRate and they're the same good quality that I've come to expect. I'm glad to see that the new versions include the + and - buttons, as well as home and capture. In general I do wish that these had details like the engraved symbols being shiny, but that's a small nag. There are 2 screwdrivers an X and Y. Neither fit switch screws perfectly and within a few tries were wearing down.I also purchased different joycon colours which came with a pair of screwdrivers too. They didn't work either. Expensive mistake for me to make. Not quite what I expected - binned it straight away. A hard lesson in reading the small print for my 9 year old boyLooks cool, and it's nice that you get the plus, minus, home and capture buttons. But the round buttons feel really rough. Not very nice to the touch.Work ok though.Probably shouldn't be called 'soft touch'.Too fiddly to use with no clear instructions.I ordered the wrong ones, but going to keep them, just in case.
