bought this controller as an extra for when friends come over and didn’t expect it to get much use. However, all of our wireless controllers have had issues with drift and buttons not working properly so it's been our main controller despite needed to be plugged in. This controller ended up getting soaking wet somehow, we threw it in a bag of rice for a few days and it continues to work just fine ? highly recommend! This gift was perfect for my daughter. I bought it 8 months ago and it still works. The only thing is the wire doesn't work anymore and had to replace it last month which for me was no problem. You do have to buy a specific cord if it stops working for you.I was about to get a different zelda controller until I saw this one and immediately changed my mind. I am so happy I did. I am normally not a fan of white plastic for electronics but this one looks Soooooo Nice, and feels nice and clean with no small bumps you sometimes get with the artwork! Well worth the money. My grandfather liked it a lot two so we are getting him a crash bandicoot one. Also I'd like to say is yes it is a wired controller but it comes with a very long cord that will also unplug at the controller to save room and prevent accidents like yanking the system off the table or stand. The only downside is the wire is standard micro usb not a type C. Would have liked to see it have a type C so I could have the option of a backup charge wire for the pro controller. That said I still give this a solid 5 star review as it's the controller, not the wire that I'm reviewing.Paid $18. Saved a couple bucks and bought this controller used. My son has used this for a little over a month now, and no problems yet! The pro controllers are so expensive so this was a nice alternative. Only cons I have with a wired controller (apart from the lovely wireless) I didn't consider that there is no motion senser in the wired controller. For example when playing Mario Odyssey and you shake the pro controller, Mario will throw his hat.. well the wired does not have this feature. also you can't turn on the switch with the home button like you can with the pro (you can put it in sleep mode though) other than that, this was a nice controller for a 3rd of the price of the pro.Fantastic until the left stick started to jam up, needs replaced now. This controller is pretty cool feels like an xbox one controller very comfortable, the only gripe about the one I got It didn't come with a cord but we had one already so was no big deal. The buttons feel nice too especially the triggers and joysticks of course they feel very responsive. I recommend this for that standard gaming feel where you want to sit on the couch and play on the televisionThis is a good controller for the price.Pros:sturdyideal shape for long gaming sessions with no discomfortCons:hard to see the plus, minus, and home symbols on the plus, minus, and home buttons depending on lightingI have used this several times now and I have not had an issue. I am not an avid gamer or anything but I like the controller so far.A great looking controller that is prone to breaking. This is the 3rd of this controller I have used and each time the left anologue stick has malfunctioned. First two times it would make the player move slowly in a direction without being touched. This 3rd time the anologue stick just gets jammed in the upward position. If this controller had better anologue sticks, I would have recommended however since even mild gaming seems to cause complications - I can not.I bought this as a substitute for my nephew and liked the look and feel of it so much, I decided to use it myself.I recently bought animal crossing and decided instead of handheld, I'd just hook it up to my monitor and could freely flick between switch and my PC.I've gotten very light use out of the controller, I'd say maybe 50 hours of gameplay and the left stock's drift is unbelievable. I push it left and my character goes right o.O I thought maybe it's just a calibration issue, so I go to calibrate the sticks and it does in fact show pushing the stick to the left causes it to go right, yet pushing it to the right is perfectly normal.I like the look of this controller and the feel since I have considerably large hands. But 50 hours of gameplay is ludicrous. If it was a years of gameplay I'd understand but not light, casual playing for 30-50 mins not even daily. Its left me disappointed because I was initially pleased with the investment.I've only used this controller five times, the first 3 were on PC and no issues, as soon as I plugged it into the switch the right stick is adamant it's going left.Assumed it may be a compatibility thing with certain games, but so far every game that uses the right stick as a camera will enjoy spinning like there is no tomorrow with no input, and usually at the most inopportune moments. If you want a controller for PC, and really hate Microsoft that much you won't buy a 360 pad, by all means go for this. But if you want it for switch be wary of the analogue sticks.. :(Bought for nephew and he is over the moon with this controller. The controller comes with a 10 ft cable enough so he can plug it into his switch and play the game from his bed, which he was really happy about. Not to forget the fact that the reason he wanted this controller was because it allows you to plug your headset into it to be able to communicate with his friends. The controller itself is good, nice artwork on the front, buttons are big and click-y the d-pad has a tiny amount of wiggle but is pretty solid. The controller is quite light which is fine it just looks like it should be heavier. I only knocked a star off because of this as it makes it feel a little on the cheap side and the fact my one came with one of the “programmable” buttons on the back broken (it’s permanently stuck in) which to be fair I didn’t know it had extra buttons on the back so not really bothered about it myself, it just also makes it feel cheap (which I guess it is for a switch controller) other than that though it’s great and way better than using the joy cons in the grip!
