Just had it delivered today, and I am having a blast! This game is a type of challenge game where Nintendo takes classic levels from their NES games, and drops you right into the action where you have a specific objective you need to meet before the time limit runs out. It's a fast paced experience where you are attempting to clear the requirements as fast as possible. For example, the first challenge is a Super Mario Bros. level where you are Mario and you have the star power up, so you are invincible. The challenge is kill 15 enemies as fast as possible. I completed it the first time in 29.7 seconds and got 2 stars out of 3 as my rating, and that is based on how fast I did it. It also gives you a running points total that you can keep raising as you beat more levels/improve your times. The more stars you get, the more levels you unlock. The challenges only get more crazy and intense/fun the more challenges you complete for each NES game. I recommend this game if you are 1. A Nintendo Lover, 2. Someone who is nostalgic for the NES/8-bit era, or 3. Someone who enjoys rapid fire, fast paced fun/challenge type levels where you want to keep trying to improve your finish times and points totals. If you're looking for complete games from yesteryear, then this isn't for you.Yes, they emulate the games perfectly, but you don't get to play them all the way through. You're presented with many original NES games to start out with, but they're individual challenges. You might get a whole stage of a game, but that's it. And it's not bad, either - each game has a lot of different challenges, like "pop so many balloons" or "jump to the flagpole" - different tasks in classic NES games, and you get to unlock new games and new challenges. It's brilliant, really. When you play these challenges, you unlock various mash-ups with the classics, like playing as Link in Donkey Kong without the ability to jump. That one kind of perturbed me, but it was still a trip to play, and there are so many others. If you grew up with a NES, this game is for you. The day I got it, I found myself noticing the morning sun showing up at my window, I'd been playing it and unlocking new games and challenges all night.Fun game with short challenges for quick gaming. This game is a lot of fun, although I find that I can't play it for long periods of time. It's nice to play when I don't want to play something too involved or don't have a lot of time. Now that it's a Nintendo Select. it's definitely worth buying. It is a great joy to go back through games you crushed as a youth and punish parts of them all over again. The real failure of this game is not allowing players to actually play through the full games from start to finish.Esta bien pero en ocasiones se trabaThis is not the original games shown on the box art. Maybe I'm just dumb but this looked like a collection of old school 8 bit NES games which is something I've been wanting for years. Unfortunately it's just mini-games based on those games, such as one where you make Mario kill 15 enemies with the invincibility star, and not the classic Super Mario Bros. If you like that sort of thing, then you might like this, but I was very disappointed with this. If this were the Disney classic Fantasia, it wouldn't show you the whole movie, but instead show 30 second clips and then ask you to count how many dancing animals appeared in the scene and not let you see any other clips until you answered correctly. Not fun.I thought my son would get to play some of the old school levels, however, there are no "levels", it's just more of random time limits & odd jobs... There isn't exactly a gaming sequence either. For instance the game may have the old school setting but you can't just play a level, instead, you must complete a portion of a random level in the time the game requires you to do so or you can't move on to the next portion (whatever that may be). There is no style or fashion... the game jumps from one genre to the next in a completely random order - It's just whatever all mixed in. That wouldn't be such a bad thing but the entire time you're playing you're wondering what the goal is, where's the ending, or why isn't there a scoring system, etc. And the biggest bummer was that it wasn't challenging enough. The game must've been intended for 3-4 year old children. Very disappointed at this remix. Por eso incluye Mario 1 y 3.Nothing wrong except the game itself very misleading you think your getting the actually classic games but your not at all and only half screen is actual game nintendo failed epicaly people dont care about there little twist that they added people want the old classic gamesLlegó el producto antes del tiempo establecido, me trajo recuerdos de antaño, muy buenos juegos; aunque mis hijas digan que es mi juego pixeleado.........Gran título. Para los amantes de lo retro.Incluye los 2 títulos de NES RemixMuchos retos y niveles especiales. If you like classic nintendo game ? That game is for you :)
