It's a really solid product. My son loves it and has shown me (by kicking my butt) that the buttons are very responsive/ quick to communicate the corresponding expectation (as soon as you hit jump you jump, etc). The only issue so far was operator error because the cover plate wasn't pushed down completely (he kicked my butt again as soon as he figured out his mistake) and he was able to pause, fix the issue immediately and get back to it. No issues since. Great gift idea for someone who loves all style video game systems and wants a cool interchangeable controller.
