I'm no electrician so the physical install was a bit of a challenge, but that's nothing to do with the product. Once installed it paired very quickly to the bridge and I was able to set up my light to come on at sunset and off at 1am. So far I also have it paired with the exterior extension cord that works with landscape lights and now they all come on at the same time. Plan to add another exterior light and then window candles, so they will all come on and shut off at the same time without having to program multiple timers. Can't rate longevity, nor do I have it hooked up to Alexa or any other voice activated gizmos to rate that. I'd recommend this system. Not the cheapest, but a few extra bucks for a system that was really no hassle to set up for a non-techy, was worth it.
