I wasn't really sure what to expect when I got Sparklite - but I had seen very positive things online. When I got the game I was blown away - it's AMAZING!! The controls and graphics feel great and the story is very well told. I really love the simplicity of the game - it's easy to pick up and get going right away and easily one of the best sleeper titles on Switch. Your search should end here. Play Sparklite today!Fun game for a time killerI wanted so badly to like this game, and it started out pretty promising. Unfortunately there's not much depth to it and it gets old very quickly. There's almost never a reason to use any of the items, other than maybe one time each to open the gate to the next region. Combat is pretty much entirely just swinging your wrench, and the patch system quickly makes you overpowered. I found several bugs while playing, and the final boss might be the most underwhelming fight I've ever encountered.Might be worth $5, but I was very disappointed even at $15.Good little game. Plays great and has some good creative touches. This was not a new product.Besides the art, this game has just about everything else going against it.If your looking to annoy yourself on a friday evening this is a great game to play.To list the cons:- Clunky controls- Buggy hit detection- The gadget system is completely useless in combat and even more so in boss fights.- levels are not fully randomized in the sense the "layouts" are always exactly the same on a given "tile". This means you will encounter the same enemy/treasure chest formations again and again (there is little variety).- The sidequest to find "music bird notes" is very obnoxious. There is no consistent way to find all of them besides RNG.- Once you buy everything there is no use for the sparklite and no way to use sparklite to purchase field items like health.- Zero character dialog/development.- Extremely cliche story.- The final boss encounter is incredibly annoying (one of the worst I've ever played). The last phase of this fight is a "gauntlet" style challenge where you must avoid RNG based boss attacks from the first "form" while killing overpowered grunt enemies. The enemies will spawn out of thin air (a lot of times on top of you) cheaply draining your health to no fault of your own and ensuring you run out of room to avoid the bosses energy attacks (that are proximity based). There is no reliable way to avoid getting hit by the bosses energy attacks as the boss waits until you are fully engaged with an enemy to start rolling attacks out completely randomly. I died a few times to an attack I am 100% sure I dodged, so I am also pretty certain it can glitch out. I made it to the last "platform" and nearly beat it. Needless to say, I could care less about beating this game and will be promptly getting rid of it.Don't waste your time, money or sanity with this game. It has every annoying negative video game development "trope" you may find in other archaic titles.Such a great rogue-lite, action-RPG. Not necessarily worth $35 for the physical version, but the eShop price is right. Enjoyed every minute I spent with this charming little game, and was definitely sad when it came to an end. Hoping it gets a sequel! This game is fantastic! Addictive with simple controls. Would recommend for a relax and play style game!good price and Fast Deliveryどんなゲームか知らなかったけど、画面写真が良さげなのと海外での評判が良かったので購入してみました。
